Samsung Asset Management Selected as Preferred Negotiation Partner for SNU Foundation Management

On October 10, Samsung Asset Management announced that it has been selected as the preferred negotiation partner for managing financial assets worth approximately 200 billion KRW on behalf of the Seoul National University Foundation.
Samsung Asset Management was previously chosen in 2019 as the external asset management operator (OCIO) for the first term of Seoul National University. With this recent selection, the company has increased its chances of continuing its work into the second term of the OCIO, which is set to begin next year. Samsung Asset Management will finalize its OCIO designation after negotiating and completing the contract with the foundation.
A company representative stated, "This outcome signifies that the trust and stable management system that Samsung Asset Management has built over the years has been recognized once again. It will also serve as an opportunity to further solidify our expertise and reputation in the university fund OCIO market."
Meanwhile, Samsung Asset Management has been recognized for its achievements in both the public and private OCIO markets, having been selected as the weekly manager for the pension fund investment pool for seven consecutive times as of last October.
