JW Pharmaceuticals Foundation Delivers Homemade Kimchi to Local Vulnerable Communities

The JW Lee Jong-ho Foundation, a public interest organization of JW Pharmaceutical, delivered homemade kimchi made by employees and their families to vulnerable communities in the area.
On the 1st of this month, the JW Lee Jong-ho Foundation participated in the 2025 Kimjang Festival for Everyone, organized by the Gyeonggi Gwacheon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, to carry out a kimjang sharing volunteer activity for local vulnerable populations. This event is a community sharing initiative involving local businesses, social organizations, and citizens. The JW Lee Jong-ho Foundation sponsored a donation of 10 million KRW.
Not only did they provide financial support, but about ten employees and their family members also actively participated in the on-site volunteer work. They mixed and packaged the kimchi at the Gwacheon Citizens Hall Clock Tower Square, which was then delivered to 230 households in need within the community. To help these vulnerable households stay healthy during the winter, health supplements were also provided alongside the kimchi.
The event exceeded initial expectations, with approximately 720 boxes of kimchi prepared, far surpassing the planned 620 boxes based on a 10 kg standard. A representative from the JW Lee Jong-ho Foundation stated, "Employees and their families participated together to spread the value of sharing in the community, and we will continue to support and engage with the community for mutual growth in the future."
