Korea Mint Corporation Launches Eco-Friendly MoneyMade Calendars for Pre-Order

The Korea Mint Corporation announced on October 10th that it will begin pre-orders for its Moneymade money calendar series, made from recycled byproducts of the currency manufacturing process, starting from the 11th through its official online store.
Earlier this year, the Mint launched a specialized currency goods brand called Moneymade, introducing its first product, a money pen. Following that, last month, it released a money keychain and money envelope.
The money calendar marks the Mints first foray into calendar products. It consists of two premium calendars that combine the symbolism of currency with Korean design sensibility, along with one lucky calendar that symbolizes fortune.
The premium money calendar is available in two formats: wall and desk types, featuring storytelling concepts that highlight Korean culture and history through the figures and monuments depicted on the currency.
The inner pages use eco-friendly paper made from recycled currency byproducts, allowing users to see the money dust. It is finished with a golden cover that symbolizes abundance for the new year. The initial production quantity is set at 4,000 units.
The accompanying lucky calendar is a desk-type product that includes memo sheets for recording notes and schedules, adorned with a four-leaf clover design that adds a charming touch to any space. It will be released in a limited batch of 1,000 units.
Pre-orders will run from the 11th until the initial stock of each product is sold out. Shipping is scheduled to begin sequentially from the 8th of next month.
Chung Chang-hoon, the CEO of the Mint, stated, "We aim to extend the trust and hope embodied by currency into everyday life, fostering a culture of citizen-participatory ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goods that conveys good fortune and warmth."
