Nihonshu Korea, a Japanese sake importer, announced on the 31st that it has opened a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul, showcasing the premium sake brand Dassais exclusive four varieties for the first time in South Korea. The pop-up will be operational until April 5th on the basement level of The Hyundai Seoul.

The event is designed to allow domestic consumers to directly experience Dassais philosophy, manufacturing techniques, and product features. Attendees can enjoy tastings and make purchases, with a spotlight on both representative products and limited editions.

The four exclusive Dassai varieties are being unveiled in South Korea for the first time. The products include Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 23 Bisshu, Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 23 Hisai Shizu, Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 39 Hanabi E, and the Dassai Migaki Sonosaki Magnum Bottle, with prices ranging from 86,000 KRW to 2,490,000 KRW.

The most expensive product is the Dassai Migaki Sonosaki Magnum Bottle, priced at 2,490,000 KRW. This premium item is the result of over a decade of research by Dassai, representing their upper-tier line. At this pop-up, only six bottles will be available for sale, limited to one bottle per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

On the third day of the pop-ups opening, on the 29th, Kazuhiro Sakurai, the CEO of Dassai, visited the event. From 4 PM to 6 PM, he engaged with visitors at the booth, explaining the products and the brand to attendees.

The venue attracted both sake enthusiasts and general visitors, leading to long lines. On the day Kazuhiro Sakurai visited, the six limited Dassai Migaki Sonosaki Magnum Bottles were successfully sold out.

Kazuhiro Sakurai expressed, "South Korea is a very special market for Dassai. It was meaningful to meet consumers who have a discerning taste for premium beverages in person."

The pop-up store operates three distinct areas: a tasting zone, a sales zone, and a bar zone, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the world of Dassai sake.
