2NE1s Park Bom Calls Out YG Entertainment Again, Then Deletes Post

Park Bom, a member of the iconic K-pop group 2NE1, has once again targeted YG Entertainment, but she quickly deleted the post afterward. On the 23rd, she took to her social media to express her frustrations, stating, "Im angry, but Im too lazy to get started on this. I hope everyone is happy." Accompanying her words was what appeared to be a note she had written.
In the note, Park Bom mentioned, "They say I made my appearance look like **. That’s because they were mocking me. Upon thinking about it, YG has never provided me with any cosmetic surgery. I’ve had one or two done with my own money." She further added, "In short, I went on stage looking like a commoner."
Additionally, she claimed, "I wrote all the songs for YG, yet they locked me away and took all the credit for the songs, except for one. They didn’t pay me, and I had to look hard to find my name in the credits." In another part of her post, she expressed her frustrations about her career, saying, "I worked so hard on the music, and even if I did well, it only felt like breaking even. I’ve never been given a chance to shoot for a magazine. I’ve had 4,231 CF offers come in, but who got them? Only 61 have come under my name this time, but who got them?"
This is not the first time Park Bom has publicly addressed her grievances with YG. Just a day earlier, she had deleted and then reposted a legal complaint against YGs head, Yang Hyun-suk. The complaint states Park Bom as the complainant and Yang Hyun-suk as the defendant, demanding a thorough investigation and legal punishment for not paying her the profits she is owed.
Park Bom’s struggle highlights ongoing issues within the K-pop industry, where artists often face significant challenges regarding their contracts, earnings, and treatment by management companies. Her candid revelations shed light on the pressures that idols endure behind the scenes, revealing a side of the entertainment industry that many fans may not be aware of.
