Former SM Entertainment Executive Launches New Agency 11D to Produce Idols

Hwang Hyun-hee, a former executive at SM Entertainment, has established a new agency called 11D, aiming to produce the next generation of K-pop idols. The name 11D is short for 11th Dimension, symbolizing a new beginning and opportunities in the public eye, combined with the concept of a dimension that creates creative energy that can shake the world. The agency is driven by a passionate commitment to engage, excite, and inspire the public.
Leading 11D, Hwang Hyun-hee has garnered attention as a prominent female planner in the idol market, having previously worked at major firms such as SM Entertainment and CJ Entertainment. Her experience includes a tenure at SM China, where she solidified her reputation in the competitive idol industry. She has proven her exceptional planning skills by casting and producing the girl group HighKey, which achieved a remarkable resurgence with their hit song Rose Between Buildings.
Hwang also made headlines by guiding Jeong Seul, who participated in the audition show Miss Trot 3, to become the only non-professional among the top seven contestants. Throughout her career, she has trained and cast notable K-pop groups, including Girls Generation, Super Junior, and SHINee, establishing herself as a casting expert. Her portfolio includes casting key members from f(x) and Super Junior M, further solidifying her standing in the industry.
In addition, 11D has recently formed a partnership with Enjoy Music Corporation, a Chinese entertainment company known for producing concerts and albums for global stars like Super Juniors Han Geng, Shijie Feng, and Wang Lihong. This collaboration lays the groundwork for 11Ds entry into international markets. Currently, the agency is in the preparation stages for launching both a girl group and a boy group, signaling an exciting future ahead for K-pop fans.
