President Donald Trumps First Asian Tour After Re-election Begins in Malaysia

On the 27th of October, local time, President Donald Trump concluded his first Asian tour since re-election with a one-night, two-day schedule in Malaysia. His next destination is Japan.
Earlier that day, President Trump boarded Air Force One at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, departing for Tokyo.
The day before, upon his arrival in Kuala Lumpur, President Trump presided over a ceasefire agreement ceremony between Thailand and Cambodia, held talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, attended the US-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) summit, and met with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, successfully covering a full agenda in just one day.
During his visit, President Trump achieved several milestones, including signing trade agreements and core mineral cooperation agreements with Malaysia, a trade agreement with Cambodia, and a core mineral cooperation agreement with Thailand. Furthermore, he reached a significant framework agreement for trade negotiations with Vietnam.
Upon arriving in Japan, President Trump is scheduled to meet with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on the 28th. Following this, he will enter South Korea on the 29th, where he will meet with President Lee Jae-myung before attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. The highlight of his tour will be a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Busan on the 30th, marking the first US-China summit in over six years.
