South Koreas Foreign Minister Apologizes for Governments Response to Cambodia Incident
On the 28th, South Koreas Foreign Minister Park Jin was seen adjusting his hair during the National Assemblys Foreign Affairs and Unification Committees comprehensive audit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Unification. During this session, lawmakers from both the ruling and opposition parties criticized the governments lax response to the recent incidents in Cambodia. Minister Park expressed his deep apologies for the concerns caused to the public due to a surge in cases of employment scams and confinement of South Korean citizens in Cambodia. He acknowledged the gravity of the situation and the distress it has caused among the nation’s citizens. This acknowledgment is crucial as it reflects the governments recognition of the issues faced by its citizens abroad.
