LG Electronics Showcases Innovative Home Appliances at KES 2025

On the afternoon of the 21st at 4:30 PM, the LG Electronics booth at the Korea Electronics Show (KES) 2025 in COEX, Samsung-dong, Seoul, was bustling with activity. Kim Young-rak, the President of LG Electronics Domestic Sales Division, was present to inspect the booth.
LG Electronics unveiled several innovative home appliances and TV products that are set to launch within the year. Notable highlights included the built-in cleaning robot Hidden Station, the bathroom solution LG Bath Air System, and the LG System Ironing, which combines a high-pressure steam iron, a steam sprayer, and an ironing board. These products are aimed not only at the consumer market but also at high-net-worth individuals and businesses in South Korea.
Kim engaged in a thorough microscopic verification of these products, extending his visit beyond the exhibitions closing time of 5 PM by about 45 minutes. He particularly focused on the LG System Ironing, questioning employees for over five minutes on whether the products were designed and manufactured with the consumers perspective in mind. He emphasized the need for the iron to not damage fabrics even if left on clothing for an extended period and called for improvements to the ironing board to make it more user-friendly.
Kim also expressed interest in the AI home solutions on display, suggesting that appliances equipped with AI should be capable of directly ordering laundry detergent online when running low or alerting customers about the timing for replacing parts.
Employees noted that Kims rigorous and responsible work philosophy, which is well-known within the company, is evident in his approach to product development and customer service.
