Actor Ji Soo Denies Relationship with Kim Soo Hyun Amid School Violence Allegations

Actor Ji Soo, who is currently active in the Philippines, has denied having a personal relationship with fellow actor Kim Soo Hyun during a recent appearance on Pinoy Big Brother. When asked about his connection with Kim Soo Hyun, Ji Soo stated, "I have never met him in person," clarifying any misconceptions about their friendship.

Ji Soo acknowledged some of the allegations and voluntarily stepped down from the project.
Due to Ji Soos sudden departure amidst the school violence allegations, the production of River Where the Moon Rises, which was filmed in a pre-produced format, had to re-shoot episodes 7 through 18. After stabilizing the situation, they also re-shot episodes 1 to 6.
Following these events, Victory Contents filed a lawsuit against KeyEast, Ji Soos former agency, demanding compensation of 3 billion won for the additional production costs incurred from the re-shoots. The court ruled in favor of Victory Contents, ordering KeyEast to pay 1.42 billion won along with delay interest as damages.
