Singer Bae Jin-young recently expressed his bewilderment regarding the dating concept teaser featuring (G)I-DLEs Miyeon. In an interview conducted in Seoul, he shared his thoughts about the situation, saying, "I was quite surprised to see the article referring to it as something like We Got Married."

This statement came in response to negative reactions following the release of a new content teaser on the YouTube channel Trip Code. The teaser video depicted Bae Jin-young and Miyeon in a romantic setting, with phrases like Traveling with a stranger and We need to raise our heart rates, which sparked backlash from fans. Due to the escalating controversy, the video was switched to private mode. The full episode is set to be released on the 16th at 6:30 PM.

Regarding the teaser, Bae Jin-young clarified, "I didn’t even know who the other person was. I had no information about whether they were male or female." He added, "The video was presented as something like heart-fluttering, but it didnt feel that way at all. It was just a game-like experience to raise our heart rates. I was taken aback by the articles labeling it as We Got Married. I was like, Huh? What’s this?"

On a separate note, Bae Jin-young released his first mini-album titled STILL YOUNG on the 14th. The album encapsulates unwavering passion (STILL), solidified skills (STEEL), the spirit of youth and challenge (YOUNG), and starting new challenges with an original mindset (0). The title track Round & Round aims to showcase his artistic growth and youthful energy.
