Korea Week 2025: Supporting Domestic Sports Companies in Global Markets

The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation announced on the 23rd that it has supported the participation of five outstanding domestic sports companies in the 2025 Export Boom-Up Korea Week to assist them in entering international markets.
Held at KINTEX in Ilsan over two days starting from the 21st, this large-scale export consultation event featured participation from 700 overseas buyers and over 2,000 domestic companies. The event was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
The Sports Foundation established a K-Sports pavilion covering approximately 270 square meters, showcasing remarkable ICT-converged experiential content and outdoor equipment. The participating companies included Aspoze, which developed an augmented reality (AR) climbing system; Tensiel, which created the K-POP experiential content platform DanceSnap; Jihai Well, a company specializing in gait and body shape analysis systems; Snowline, an outdoor and camping specialist; and BNK Sports, a manufacturer of camping ice coolers. The pavilion attracted significant interest from visitors.
During the two-day event, the participating companies recorded a total of 49 one-on-one export consultations, amounting to approximately 21 million dollars. Notably, Tensiel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) worth about 100,000 dollars with the Japanese marketing consulting firm J-Bridge regarding DanceSnap. This agreement lays the groundwork for brand collaboration as they enter the Japanese market, demonstrating the potential for K-content combining sports and culture to expand internationally.
A representative from the Sports Foundation commented, “The export consultation event was of great interest to overseas buyers, especially regarding experiential sports technologies like augmented reality and K-POP.” They added, “We will continue our efforts to strengthen the international competitiveness of excellent domestic sports companies through collaboration with specialized institutions.”
