Woman Arrested for Trespassing at BTS Jungkooks Home

A woman in her 40s has been handed over to prosecutors after unlawfully entering the parking lot of BTS member Jungkooks private residence. According to police reports from the Yongsan Police Station on the 22nd, the Korean national, referred to as A, was charged with trespassing and violating stalking laws on the 14th of this month.
On August 30, at approximately 11:20 PM, A was caught trespassing in the parking lot of Jungkooks residence located in Yongsan District. She was arrested in the act after police were alerted and responded to the scene.
In a separate incident, a Chinese woman, identified as B, attempted to break into Jungkooks home but was given a suspended prosecution. The Seoul Western District Prosecutors Office announced on the 10th of last month that they had reached this decision regarding B, who was charged with attempted trespassing.
The prosecution explained that Bs actions were considered an attempt and that she had since returned to her home country, which reduced her risk of re-offending.
B had attempted to enter Jungkooks residence on June 11, shortly after he was discharged from military service, at around 11:20 PM. It was reported that she was pressing the entrance password multiple times when she was apprehended by the police. She claimed that she had come to Korea to see Jungkook upon his return from the military.
This series of incidents highlights the ongoing issues of celebrity stalking and privacy invasion, raising concerns within the entertainment industry regarding the safety of artists.
