KPAS-Selected Companies Thrive in Global AI Market with Significant Growth

                            
                        Last year, companies selected for the KPAS have been making significant strides in the global artificial intelligence (AI) industry. Many have participated in national AI initiatives promoted by the government or secured large overseas projects, leading to substantial growth over the past year.
According to investment industry sources on the 16th, Markvision, a KPAS-selected company, recently succeeded in attracting $48 million (approximately 70 billion won) in investments. Renowned global investment firms, including Sequoia Capital India, Salesforce Ventures, and Y Combinator, have actively participated in funding. Markvision specializes in protecting brand intellectual property (IP) through AI technology and has taken steps to expand internationally by establishing an office in Japan.
Another KPAS company, Nota, is currently pursuing a listing on the KOSDAQ and began demand forecasting for institutional investors on the 14th. Nota, which focuses on GPU optimization, is nearing its KOSDAQ debut just ten months after successfully completing a technology assessment for a special technology listing last December. The companys revenue has grown from 500 million won in 2022 to nearly 10 billion won.
AI drone company Nears Lab has rapidly expanded its business scope in the past year since being selected as a KPAS company. Targeting the global defense market, the company has unveiled high-speed interception drones like Kaiden and swarm attack drones such as Ziden. Nears Lab was also included in the Global Defense Companies 100 list published by the defense media outlet Defense Post, showcasing its advanced vision AI-based autonomous flight technology.
AI optimization firm Rablup has successfully secured over 110 clients, ranging from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics to the Bank of Korea, Samsung Medical Center, and the Navy. Rablup manages more than 16,000 GPUs.
SelectStar has pioneered the establishment of benchmark data for personal data in the European Union (EU), marking a significant achievement in the industry.
