The boy group YUHZ, born from the audition program B:MY BOYZ, has officially hit the starting line of their career. With a significant investment of 30 billion KRW secured from China, attention is focused on whether they can make meaningful strides in the local market.
On the afternoon of the 1st, a global press conference was held in a location in Yongsan, Seoul, to celebrate the formation of YUHZ, along with the announcement of a strategic partnership agreement between Pinnacle Entertainment and Lucky Door.
The final members of B:MY BOYZ were confirmed on the 30th of last month. Hyo, Lee Yeon-tae, Moon Jae-il, Kim Bo-hyun, Kai, Kang Jun-seong, Park Se-chan, and Haruto were selected to debut as an eight-member group named YUHZ. Pinnacle Entertainment, which is managing the group, was founded last year and is led by CEO Park Kwon-young, a former director at SM Entertainment.
Pinnacle Entertainment has entered into a large-scale strategic partnership with Lucky Door, a Chinese entertainment company with 30 years of experience, and its Korean branch, Lucky Gate Korea. Lucky Door has invested approximately 30 billion KRW for YUHZs debut project. The company is responsible for the album rights of major artists like Sony, BMG, and Universal in China and has previously organized concerts for global stars such as Big Bangs world tour MADE in China.
The event was attended by YUHZ members, CEO Park Kwon-young of Pinnacle Entertainment, Chairman Wang Feng of Lucky Door, CEO So Kyung-hong, and CEO Mok Ji-won of Lucky Gate Korea.
CEO Park Kwon-young stated, We planned and produced B:MY BOYZ in collaboration with SBS and are now managing YUHZ. We aim to ensure that the group can thrive not only domestically but also internationally, especially with the support from our strategic partners.
