Korea Investment & Securities Hosts Retirement Master Academy for Corporate Pension Managers
Korea Financial Groups subsidiary, Korea Investment & Securities, announced on the 23rd that it held the KIS Retirement Master Academy on the 22nd at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, targeting corporate HR and finance personnel responsible for retirement pensions.
The seminar attracted significant interest as it focused on pressing issues regarding regulatory changes such as the Yellow Envelope Law and the Commercial Law Amendment, which are of great concern to corporate representatives. Attorney Ahn Sang-hyun from law firm Hwawoo and Attorney Kim Dong-wook from law firm Sejong delivered lectures on changes to board processes resulting from the commercial law amendments and the key contents of the Yellow Envelope Law, along with the evolving labor-management relations.
Following this, the Asset Management Strategy Department of Korea Investment & Securities and the ETF Marketing Department of Korea Investment Trust introduced recent trends in the stablecoin market, investment trends in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) within pension accounts, and strategies for managing retirement pensions in light of current financial market developments.
The event saw attendance from over 150 pension managers from major corporations nationwide. Korea Investment & Securities has established an annual seminar for corporate clients focusing on changes in retirement pension systems and management strategies, which has been well-received as a practical and beneficial educational program.
Park Jae-hyun, head of the Individual Customer Group at Korea Investment & Securities, stated, "As the legal and financial environment surrounding companies is rapidly changing, we plan to continuously expand our specialized seminars that provide a comprehensive understanding of retirement pension systems and management strategies. We will continue to offer differentiated consulting and customized solutions to corporate clients centered around the KIS Retirement Master."
